An exclusive charity screening of the hit movie
‘A HIJACKING’

Liverpool is set to welcome a charity screening of the tense, dramatic and critically acclaimed movie, ‘A HIJACKING’. Based on real life events, the film is an edgy, uptight and chilling drama following the emotional journeys of a ship’s crew as they are taken hostage in the Indian Ocean.

Organised by the Maritime Piracy Humanitarian Response Programme (MPHRP), the screening takes place in the glorious surroundings of Liverpool’s most prestigious club, The Athenaeum.
Prior to the screening there will be a drinks reception and following a Q&A session with representatives from MPHRP discussing issues regarding maritime piracy, the psychological impacts on victims and their families plus the economic effects on a major international industry.
